BioPouches has been manufacturing and custom printing food pouches since 2009, producing six flexible packaging formats for brands in the food, beverage, pet food, and health industries. Every format in our range — flat bottom, stand up, gusseted, flat, spouted, and roll stock — is available in compostable, recyclable, and post-consumer recycled materials, all certified by BPI, FSC, DIN, OK Compost, ISO, and TÜV. Print runs go from single colour gravure up to 10-colour, with digital printing using soy-based ink available from 500 units.

Sustainable Pouch Options — Compostable, Recyclable and Recycled
Sustainability claims on packaging need documentation behind them. Our compostable pouches are certified to EN 13432 and ASTM D6400, meaning they break down in both home and industrial composting environments — not just under lab conditions. Our recyclable pouches use mono-material film so they can be sorted and processed at standard recycling facilities without contamination. And our PCR range is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, reducing virgin material use without compromising barrier performance. All three material routes are available across most formats in our range.

Choose the Right Pouch Format for Your Product
Different products need different packaging structures. Flat bottom bags are the preferred choice for coffee, tea, and premium snacks that need to stand on shelf. Gusseted bags handle larger volumes and work well for pet food, bird seed, and bulk dry goods. Flat pouches suit single-serve portions, samples, and frozen food applications. Spouted pouches are designed for liquids, sauces, juices, and baby food. And roll stock is available for brands filling and sealing on their own production line.
